After looking at the NSS results I have had a bit of a change of heart with wanting to study at the university of south Wales. I believe that if I’m going to be spending all my time, money and effort at an university then it should be at one that I can get the most out of, even if this means moving away. living in Cardiff would have been perfect but when I see this on a students survey it has put me off.
Looking at the NSS of the arts University of Bournemouth I can see an extremely high satisfaction rate that has definitely made me reconsider where I want to study. Another part of the survey that intrigues me is the percentage of people who have jobs in the industry and their earnings compared to other universities are higher.
After looking at the details of the course I believe this would be perfect for me as I have aspirations of developing the skills that are described here in order to become a director of photography. I also like how they have an updated show reel as many places could show the best of work since the day the course began running and were taught by previous lecturers.
Seeing this University appear so high on this list has also helped make this decision a lot easier to make and the decision to have this as my first choice. Bournemouth is also a part of the UK that I’ve always wanted to go to and even though it’s an expensive place I love the beaches and the type of place it is. It’s also not far from London in a car.
